Today, 1 October 2026, the new website of the De Bovenhaven watersports club went live. A festive moment for our club: from now on you will find everything about the harbour, membership and your stay as a visitor in one clear place, in Dutch, German and English.
The old site served us faithfully for years, but it was due for replacement. The new one has been built from the ground up around the questions members and visitors ask us most: what does a night cost, how do I become a member, what do the rules say, and who should I talk to? And it works just as well on your phone as on a computer, handy when you have just moored.
What’s new
- All prices in one place, separately for visiting boats and for members. They come from a single source, so every page shows the same amount.
- A calendar of club events: look ahead to the next one, or browse back through earlier seasons.
- The harbour rules, the internal rules and the articles of association in full online, with a table of contents that follows you down the page.
- Answers to the frequently asked questions about berths, the waiting list and the duty to help.
- Applying for membership and getting in touch is done with a simple form.
- For visitors from abroad: the whole site in English and German as well as Dutch.

A website is never the work of one person. Many thanks to the board and to everyone who contributed texts, photos and newsletters, and who read along and shared ideas. From now on the board keeps the site up to date itself, so news, events and prices stay current.
