Frequently asked questions about prices
What does a night in the Bovenhaven cost?
The mooring fee for visiting boats is €1.60 per metre of boat length per night, excluding tourist tax, showers and electricity. An 8-metre boat therefore pays €12.80 mooring fee per night. On the day of departure, leave the berth before 12:00; after that an extra night is charged.
Is the tourist tax included in the mooring fee?
No. The tourist tax is a levy of the municipality of Kampen that you settle separately with the harbour master. The amount is on request from the harbour master.
Can I book a visitor berth?
No, booking is not possible. Call or message the harbour master in advance on +31 6 2833 4061 to ask whether there is room; the harbour is full at busy times in particular.
When do the prices change?
The members’ meeting sets the membership fee and the mooring fees each year in March, on the board’s proposal (internal rules art. 8 and 9). The tourist tax is a rate set by the municipality of Kampen and may change from year to year; the amount for storage outside the winter season is indexed annually. The current price level is shown at the top of this page.
Becoming a member, or do you have a permanent berth? Different rates apply: prices for members.
