Sixty-eight people are on the waiting list for a berth. By far the most requested is a berth of five to six metres: forty applications are open for that size.
The harbour is full and will stay that way for now. A berth becomes free when someone cancels, and that mostly happens at the end of the year. Berths that come free are reallocated by size and in order of registration.
Cancelling before 1 December
The notice period is one month before the end of the year: your cancellation must be in by 1 December. That can only be done by email to info@bovenhaven.nl, and your cancellation only takes effect once you have received a confirmation.
A berth that fits
Regularly there is a boat that does not match the size of its berth. The harbour wants to use the berths as well as possible. If you buy a smaller boat, you join the waiting list again for that size.
