A number of berths are being widened to 2.5 metres, and the approach to the floating pontoon is being repaired. The work is planned for February and March.
It is all being done in one go. A crane vessel is coming that has to be able to enter the section where the punters now lie. At the moment that is not possible, because many punters stick out beyond the piles. A number of other boats will also be moved temporarily so that work can be done everywhere.
What members are asked to do
On Saturday 7 February at half past nine the punters will be turned around and laid alongside each other, so that the whole entrance is clear. This concerns berths 117 to 154 and 88 to 116. The boats in berths 21 to 26 and 158 to 161 will also be given a temporary arrangement.
